Welcome to Bromley Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhirebromley.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services

1. Bromley Rental

All vehicle rentals through Bromley are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or vehicle collection. This agreement sets out specific terms, conditions, insurance details, charges, and your responsibilities for the relevant rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Bromley Eligibility Requirements

To rent a vehicle from Bromley, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address and payment method as requested by Bromley at the time of hire.

3. Booking and Payment — Bromley

  • Bookings may be made via our website, by phone, or in person at our Bromley branch. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. Full payment and the security deposit are normally payable on collection of the vehicle. All prices are quoted in British pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Collection and Return (Bromley)

  • You must inspect the vehicle at collection and report any existing damage to Bromley immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed on collection. Return the vehicle to Bromley in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed by Bromley and charged accordingly.

5. Insurance and Liability for Bromley

  • Bromley provides basic third-party insurance with every rental. Full policy terms and any applicable excess amounts are set out in the Rental Agreement. Optional insurance products may be available to lower your out-of-pocket exposure. Please review these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the applicable excess stated in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Amendments

Bromley’s cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for complete details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Bromley Restrictions

You must not use the Bromley vehicle for:

  • Any illegal purpose or activity involving a Bromley vehicle. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities using a Bromley vehicle. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials in a Bromley vehicle. Sub-letting a Bromley vehicle to third parties or allowing unauthorized drivers. Driving a Bromley vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Use of the vehicle for purposes for which it was not designed...

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate rental termination and Bromley-imposed charges.

8. Limit on Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Bromley Vehicle Hire Services shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising under or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Bromley Vehicle Hire Services in the six months immediately preceding the event that gave rise to the claim.

9. Bromley Law

These Terms, in relation to Bromley, are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Bromley Terms

Bromley may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on Bromley’s website. Your continued use of Bromley’s services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
